Programs for workplace wellness and occupational health have been used in Indian industries for almost 35 years and they have changed during this time from being merely legal requirements to benefit offerings in several organizations. Recent research has shown that prospective employees do look for wellness benefits from their employers. Additionally, research has shown that businesses with wellness programs as benefits have lower attrition rates. Even though the health and wellbeing programs in the Indian industrial environment have improved over time, very few wellness companies can offer a true 360° well-being program that addresses both work-related and non-work-related illnesses or injuries.

We were able to identify a gap in the current health and wellbeing programs being used in the Indian workplace environment, both in the manufacturing and service industries, thanks to the 28 years of rich experience brought in by our founder CEO. The need to bridge the divide between wellness programs that are “good to have” and those that are “need to have” was recognized when Citrine Wellness was founded. We offer specific health and wellness programmes to avoid both communicable and non-communicable diseases, as well as injuries and illnesses caused by both work-related and non-work-related factors. By doing this, we aim to improve employee-employer engagement, foster a positive work environment, and lower operating costs while also improving organizational agility.

Dr. VINI NAIR
(Founder, CEO)
Dr. Vini Nair has over 28 years of experience in the fields of occupational health and workplace wellbeing. She has helped establish the OH standards and guidelines for the organizations she was associated with earlier. Somebody who understands the collaboration between all three components of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety). She works seamlessly with EHS and HR in creating a 360o health and wellbeing program for the employees with demonstrable improvement in the reduction of both work-related as well as non-work-related injuries and illnesses. Her expertise in health surveillance programs, resiliency training, team agility assessment, health promotion, and protection programs is among the best in the industry. In addition, she also has expertise in product safety, toxicology, and Material Safety Data Sheet Section 4 reviews. She has experience working with industry giants like GSK, GE / Genpact, Dow Chemical, and Corteva Agriscience. Her last held post was that of Regional Medical Director, APAC for Corteva Agriscience.
Dr. Vini Nair is a well-known working professional in the field of occupational health services in India. She is a strong and independent woman working in the field. She has proven that she is always game for a challenge and takes pride in finding solutions to complex problems.
SANDEEP RAM

With more than 15 years of experience in sectors like account management, people management, and financial administration, Sandeep Ram is a leader and has consistently contributed significantly to the growth of various enterprises, and he has proven his expertise in people management and organizational administration.
Together with Dr. Vini Nair, Sandeep Ram founded Citrine Wellness, and he currently serves as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer, in charge of all daily operations (COO). In addition to his smart business collaboration with Dr. Vini Nair, he had decided to launch the company because he saw enormous potential in both himself and the business.
